Jesse "Slim" Teague

Jesse has been doing freelance gunsmithing in Northern Nevada since January 2008. He has been fond of guns all his life and attended Lassen College for gunsmithing in 2006 and then again in August 2008 for Law Enforcement Armorers School (L.E.A.S.) and is L.E.A.S. certified.

He enjoys mostly working on, collecting and shooting surplus military rifles as well as an array of handguns.

His knowledge of guns includes just about everything. Operating and trouble shooting AR15/M16 series of rifles, AK47/AKM and SKS series rifles, Mauser model 1898s, and Glock pistol is merely a second nature to him. He is very knowledgeable of M1 carbine and M1 Garand rifles, Makarov pistols, Mosin-Nagant series of rifles, Sig Sauer "P" series and 1911 pistols, Walther P1/P28 series pistols, Model 1911 series pistols, Beretta 92 serie, Ruger MKI, MKII, and MK III pistols and 10/22 rifles. He also has a working knowledge of CETME, FN FAL series of rifles, Enfield SMLE series, Smith & Wesson revolvers, Remington 870 shotguns, and Stoeger over/under shotguns.

In addition to his vast gunsmithing knowledge, Jesse enjoys bringing new people into the firearms community. He taught a gun cleaning/maintenance course at the Reno Sportsman's Warehouse on Saturdays, where he is also an employee in the hunting department. Additionally, he taught gun cleaning/maintenance courses with The Women's Shooting Academy in Reno, NV. In addition to shooting and gunsmithing, Jesse also enjoys reloading.
